Montauk vs Freeport
Dan Stavola, a mason contractor and resident, demanded to know why
the town board "would want to turn Montauk into the Bronx of the East
End.
We don't want Hampton Bays out here. We don't want Freeport out here.
Montauk, he added, "is turning into a hole.

Long Island zip code of 11024 takes top honors with a per household
median income after taxes of $74,552, according to Bill Communications
Market Statistics. Roslyn, another Long Island zip code (11576) ranks
second with $70,338 and the Beverly Hills, CA code 90210 comes in
third with $69,265. In fact, of the top zip codes, Long Island
communitities occupied 10 positions.
