What exactly is the SSP ? Anti roll bars and only anti roll bars ? Are the mount the same points, with the same bushigs? The MINIUSA site is not conclusive:

Update: 2003 April 20:
Stiffer springs are included in the SSP
According to the January 2002 ETK (which curiously only shows through MY 2001 Mini), comparing the Sport and Sport Plus suspensions shows different F/R struts/shocks and different F/R anti-roll bars. As with BMW, springs vary with optional equipment, but appear to be the same between Sport and Sport Plus. Mounting points appear to be the same. Rear anti-roll bar bushings are the same, but fronts are different. It looks like the base Mini One can be had with standard or Sport suspension, while the Cooper can be had with Sport or Sport Plus. Here's a parts summary: Front: Anti-roll bars: Standard - 16mm 31 35 6 757 071 w/ bushing 31 35 6 757 069 Sport - 22.5mm 31 35 6 757 072 w/ bushing 31 35 6 757 146 Sport Plus - 24mm 31 35 6 758 301 w/ bushing 31 35 6 758 302 Struts: Standard - 31 30 6 759 243/244 Sport - 31 30 6 759 245/246 Sport Plus - 31 30 6 759 247/248 Rear: Anti-roll bars: Standard - None Sport - 16mm 33 55 6 754 818 Sport Plus - 17mm 33 55 6 754 819
